萌妹社区 System President Gary Forsee today announced key appointments that will shape the future of university health care provided to Missouri citizens.
Forsee has appointed a nine-member advisory board that will work to ensure the success of the university's health care system. The new board members will advise university officials on strategies and policies for the health system, including its strategic plan, the state and national health care market, quality assurance programs and joint ventures.
"The mission of the new board is to advise and support the university in achieving exceptional clinical services," Forsee said. "It will help 萌妹社区 Health Care to realize its full potential in serving the health care needs of the state."
Forsee, who will chair the advisory board, said the individuals who have agreed to serve on the board are leaders in their professions who possess broad expertise and experience in financial, health-related and other fields. They bring important perspectives and management experience that are vital to the board's success.
"We all know that access to quality, affordable health care is a major concern here in Missouri and around the country - so we are committed to tapping into the creative thinking and wisdom of those who can help us achieve exceptional clinical service," Forsee added.
